MORE TARANAKI FIGURES. POPULATION OF COUNTIES. Figures in respect to the population of "faranaki, Clifton and Inglewood Counties, as shown by the recent census, were completed yesterday afternoon. The details and a comparison with the 1916 census are given below: Taranaki County: 2642 males, 2300 females; total 4942. Last census, 4400; increase, 542. Clifton: 1192 males, 944 females; total, 2136. Last census,. 1966; increase, 170. Inglewood County: 1691 males, 14445 females; total, 3137. The Inglewood County was formed since the last census, part of its area being taken from the Clifton and Taranaki Counties. The last census figures given for the two latter allow for this deduction; the 1916 totals without the deduction of area were: Taranaki, 7100; Clifton, 2156. The Press Association last night announced the following returns:
