Due Wellington May 18. Due New Plymouth end of May. Waiotapu, from 'Frisco. Arrival date uncertain. The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga at 5.30 o'clock yesterday morning; having made a good trip. Sire brought passengers and 120 tons of general cargo. The vessel sailed again for Onehunga at 8.45 p.m. PORT HACKING SAILS. The Port Hacking left the wharf at 8.30 o’clock yesterday morning to proceed to the Wanganui roadstead to continue loading. The cargo landed since work was commenced on Saturday afternoon consisted of 15,000 freight carcases of meat, 20,000 boxes of butter, 5000 crates of cheese, and 20 tons of ironsand shipped to the Mines Department for trial smelting in England. „ j jjj; WAIOTAPU TO BRING CARGO. The Union Company advise that the steamer Waiotapu (5886 tons) is to load at San Francisco and Vancouver about the middle of this month for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth. The cargo will consist of lumber, benzine, and any general merci*andise offering. The vessel should arrive at New Plymouth at about the end of June. The Waiotapu is one of the ex-German vessels which the company acquired recently. HURUNUI AT AUCKLAND. The liner Hurunui arrived at Auckland on Thursday night from New York via Newport News and Panama. The vessel, which counes to the agency of the Federal Line, is expected to reach Wellington next Monday week.

PORT DARWIN LOADING. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Darwiz is to leave Wellington on Monday for Wanganui roadstead for Homeward loading. The vessel will subsequently load at Napier and Wellington, and is expected to get away from Wellington on June 1 for London, via Panama. MAHIA TO LOAD. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the Mahla, now putting out Welsh coal at Port Chalmers, is to load subsequently at Port Chalmers, and will leave there on the 27th instant for Lyttelton, Picton, and Wellington, arriving at the latter port on June 5. The Mahia Will sail from Wellington on June 8 for London, via Panama. MOERAKI LEFT SYDNEY. Cable advice has been received by the Union Company that the Moeraki sailed from Sydney at noon on Thursday direct for Wellington. The vessel is bringing 250 passengers. She is due at Wellington early on Monday afternoon, and is timed to sail next Thursday on the return trip to Sydney and Hobart. PORT PIRIE AT BLUFF. The C. and D. liner Port Pirie is now ai> Bluff loading for Home. She will later visit Timaru and then Wellington. Expected at Wellington on May 23, she will sail for London about May 27. THE CANADIAN MARINER. The Canadian Government Line, whose steamers have commenced a regular service between Vancouver, Australia, and New Zealand, have added another liner to their fleet in the Canadian Mariner. She is a steel screw vessel of 5384 tons gross, and 3311 tons net. She was built at Halifax last year, and is of the following dimensions Length, 399.3 ft; breadth, 52.3 ft; depth, 28.4 ft. She is registered at Montreal. NEW C. AND D. LINERS.

The Commonwealth and Dominion Line is building six vessels to replace sinkages during the war. Four of these are the Port Auckland, Port Hardy, Port Hunter, and the Port Campbell. The other two as yet have not been named The six vessels are all sister ships, and have each a length of 420 ft 21n. and a gross tonnage of 6400 tons.

PORT CURTIS FROM NEW YORK. The C. and D. Lino advise that the Port Curtis berthed at Auckland, on Thursday morning to put out part cargo from New York. She is due at Wellington on Monday to discharge 2000 tons of cargo, and will proceed from there to Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian ports with the remainder. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
