HOMING PIGEON CLUB. RACK FROM PALMERSTON NORTH. On Saturday last, the New Plymouth Homing Club held a race from Palmerston. North, a distance of 125 miles. Thirty-two birds were liberated by the station-master at 10.30 a.m., and the weather conditions being favorable at the point of liberation, a good start was effected. At the home end a light northerly wind prevailed, which evidently interfered with good times being recorded. The result of the race was:—
