CAR OVER BANK.

TURNS THREE SOMERSAULTS., OCCUPANTS INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. Whilst proceeding on a slippery road between Mohaka and Napier to-day a taxi skidded and toppled over a bank, turning three somersaults. A passenger named E. Harris suffered internal injuries and injuries to the scalp and spine and his condition is serious. A returned soldier named Taylor sustained a broken leg and concussion. The' driver, Willis, was badly shaken. The sufferers were conveyed to the Wairoa hospital. Another car almost repeated the performance of the first, skidding in the same way, but its progress stopped after one wheel had gone over the edge of the bank.
