THE RARAWA. The Rarawa Is due to arrive from Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock this morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail on the return trip at 8.20 p.m. PORT HACKING TO SAIL. The Port Hacking was expected to complete loading her New Plymouth cargo last night, and will sail this morning for the Wanganui roadstead to continue loading. SUFFOLK TO LOAD. The Federal Steam Navigation Company’s steamer Suffolk is scheduled to visit New Plymouth about the end of this month to load frozen meat for the west coast of England. At present the Suffolk is en route from Liverpool with cargo for Auckland and Wellington, and Is due to arrive at the former port about the 12th.
THE CITY OF WINCHESTER. The Federal Line advise that the A. and A. Line steamer City of Winchester, now discharging New York cargo at Auckland, is to leave there to-day for Wellington, where she is due on Sunday. After putting out part cargo the vessel will proceed from there to New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. OPAWA AT LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company are in receipt of cable advice that their liner Opawa arrived at London on May 2 from Lyttelton via Panama. CARPENTARIA LEFT PANAMA. Cable news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Carpentaria left Panama on April 29 for Auckland, Wellington, and southern ports, en route from St. John. LEITRIM TO LOAD, The Federal Line advise that the steamer Leitrim is to return from Australia to New Zealand to load for Liverpool and Glasgow at Whakatane, Napier, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The vessel is to sail finally from Wellington on June 20. WOODARRA LOADS FOR LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Woodarra, now en route from London to New Zealand ports with cargo, is to load in the Dominion in, June for London. THE WAIKAWA. The Union Company advise that their steamer Walkawa is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow from San Francisco. After putting out part cargo at Auckland the vessel will go to Wellington, where she is due about to-morrow week. WESTRALIA FROM MELBOURNE. At 4 p.m. on Wednesday the Huddart-Par-ker Company's steamer Westralia arrived in the stream at Wellington from Melbourne direct. The vessel brought 610 tons of cargo for New Zealand ports, of which amount 374 tons are for discharge at Wellington. The Westralia is now timed to leave Wellington at 4 p.m. to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and Melbourne. SHROPSHIRE FOR LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that .the liner Shropshire Is to return from Australia to load at Lyttelton and Wellington for London. The vessel is due in New Zealand on the 25th inst. EAST ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE. A Gisborne message says that the Marine Department will shortly transfer the lighthouse on East Island to the mainland.
