Mrs. (Captain) Stearne wishes to ly thank Mr. and Mrs. Jaggs for their many kindnesses, and also the people of Waitara for messages of sympathy in my bereavement. I also particularly wish to record any deep appreciation of the great kelp given by the crew of the vessel and the people of Mokau, who could not have done more under trying circumstances.
