ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE PEOPLE’S.

LAST NIGHT OF OLIVE THOMAS.

Typical of its English origin, “The Glorious Lady, isereening finally to-night, represents the unusual in photoplays, typifying accurately many interesting English customs. Opening with a “point to a point- race, an English annual classic at which the barriers of convention are thrown aside as peasant and nobleman mingle indiscriminately, the play moves ■swiftly to a climax both startling and new. The story, compelling at first, develops logically and gathers interest as it nears a dramatic end. The bill includes gazette, interest, and “Smashing Barriers. To morrow’s change presents a big double Fox bill, headed by Wm. Russell in “Twins of Suffering Creek,” and including beautiful Eileen Percy in “Beware of the Bride.”

EVERYBODY’S.

“MY LADY’S GARTER” TO-NIGHT.

Jacques Futrelle, one of the heroes of the ill-fated Titanic, left behind a novel of international fame, “My Lady’s Garter,” which has been adapted under the same title to picture production by Maurice Tourneur, the master-director. “My Lady’s Garter” is a mystery story concerning the efforts of a secret service man to trap a master criminal whose alias is “The Hawk.” “The Hawk” is finally brought to justice, but not before Wyndham Standing, as the detective, and Sylvia Breamer, as the girl, are involved in many exciting adventures, which end in a romance. Mr. Tourneur’s skill in weaving scenes of this sort of a story into just the right tempo is too> well-known to need further comment. The dramatic worth of Mr. Futrelle’s novel is unquestioned, and the cast seli lected to enact it is ideal. The feature, exciting and thrilling in the extreme, will furnish an evening of genuine entertainment to all who like mystery story at its best. “My Lady’s Garter” will screen at Everybody’s finally tomorrow night. The. bill includes gazette, comedy, and “Dragon’s Net.” The box plan is at Collier *
