The police raided the headquarter# of the United Communist Party of the United States, and discovered a Vast amount of literature and large correspondence containing evident* of attempts to recruit the Communist Party from members of various American colleges, and enlist negroes to ov<throw the United States Government ( by force. Communications were also, sent to Communists throughout thb United States asking them to andeavor to become policemen and soldiers, in order to be better able to participate in the overthrow of the Government.
