PROBLEMS OF, INDIA.

The text of the Indian Divorce Act, designed to remove hardships under a recent decision, has been dispatched to India, and will be introduced when the Indian Government views are received. The question of India’s adherence to Imperial preference will be considered next winter by the Indian Fiscal Commission, which was instituted in response to a suggestion by the Select Committee of the Indian Legislature.
