AN AUSTRALIAN PROPOSAL.

By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 1, 5.5 p.m. Melbourne, April 30.

The St. Kilda branch of the. Returned Soldiers and Sailors’ Imperial League has put forward a suggestion that the body of an unknown warrior should be transferred from Gallipoli or France and buried in Melbourne on Anzac Day, 1922 Mr. Lawson states that he is not favorable to the idea, as it would only discount or cheapen a very notable incident if it was repeated.
