The fourteenth annual meeting of the Auroa Athletic Club was held in 'Mr. R. Fremain’s paddock in fine but cold weather yesterday. There was a good attendance of local residents and visitors from the neighbouring towns of Manaia, Eltham, and Kaponga. The secretary (Mr. C. A. Burke) must be congratulated on the very complete arrangements made, which enabled the events to be run to time without a hitch. Results: 100 Yards Maiden Race. —P. Joyce 1, C. Trotter 2, M.
