Weeks (Secretary of War) has requested Congress to frame legislation to prevent Germans stealing American military and secrets under the protection of American patent laws. Mr. Weeks stated that since July, 1920, twenty-one American patents were issued to Germans, all of which were assigned to Krupps. This, he declared, is significant. Out of twelve patents selected at random eight pertain to railroad artillery.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
