A MEMORIAL TABLET.

A MANAIA ROLL OF HONOR. A memorial service was held 'in Manaia Presbyterian Chiu ch on (Sunday night on the occasion of the unveiling of a Memorial Tablet to fallen members and adherents of the church. The Rev. J. Douglas Smith conducted the service and preached an eloquent sermon. The Memorial Tablet was unveiled by Mrs. J. Meulj, Mr. J. G. Craig, chairman of the Town Board, giving a brief address, Major Sutherland, who was to have officiated, being ill. The inscription is as follows:—“In Sacred Memory .of the. men of this church who fell in the great struggle for the freedom of nations, the rights of man and the Kingd©m of God, 1914-18. They died that we might live: H. J. H. Anderson, A. A. Campbell, C. G. Campbell, W. A. Clague* T. Gerrard, A. J. Gilmour, W. A. Hastie, E. N. Honore, D. McConriachie, L. W. Meuli, T. E. Miller, D. . Paterson, M. Poole, D. Stewart.”
