ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DEATH FROM A FALL. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Last Night. William Noble, believed to be a woodcutter, residing at the Summit, fell out of his cart Hu|t Road and sustained a fractured sjcull. He died on the way to hospital. YOUNG MAN FOUND DEAD. Masterton, Last Night. J. Finlayson, aged 23, was found dead on the roadside at Mauriceville, and it ie surmised heart failure was the cause of death. Deceased, who was employed as the country salesman of a Masterton firm, had only been a short time out from Scotland. SINGLE GIRL’S'DEATH. Dunedin, Last Night. Annabella McKechnie, single, aged 28, died in hospital to-day. The evidence at the inquekt showed that she had been very depressed lately, and a half empty bottle of an irritant disinfectant was found, in her room after her removal to hospital. The inquest was adjourned for a post mortem. DEATH UNDER, ANAESTHETIC. Dunedin, Last Night. Edward O’Neill, seven years old, was being given an anaesthetic at the Dunedin Hospital to-night for a minor operation when he suddenly collapsed and died. His parents reside near Hindon.
