EXPORTS FROM TARANAKI. The presettit season’s killing operations have resulted *in the storage of 80,000 carcases of men/ at the Taranaki Farmers’ works at Smart Road, New Plymouth. Of this quantity about 16,000 careases will be shipped <|irect within the next few weeks. The Port Hacking, which is due at New Plymouth next week, will lift 9000 earcases, and the Waimate, expected early in May, takes 6700 carcases. .

There are no further shipments in sight at present, but the storage space at the works will be able to cope with the output for some time yet.
