Soaking cold rain has prevented the Australians from practising, and Armstrong is arranging for a practice under cover if the rain continues. Armstrong is opposed to players accepting invitations to stay at gentlemen’s country homes. He says they prefer to have their efenlngs to themselves, and will stay at hotels—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
