WALL STREET DISASTER.
THE ALLEGED PERPETRATOR. EVIDENCE OF HIS GUILT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 24, 5.5 p.m. : New York, April 23. Four persons have now identified photographs of Ligi as the driver of the wagon in connection with the Wall Street explosion. Mr. W. J. Flynn, chief of the Justice Department Investigation Bureau, believes the arrest of r Ligi is important, in view of the fact that Ligi admitted he is an anarchist, and is unable to account for his movements about the time of the explosion. The police have also discovered pieces of sash-weights similar to those contained in the Wall Street bomb in a restaurant where Ligi was employed shortly before the disaster. One witness from New York has positively identified Ligi as the man he saw driving a wagon in Wall Street five minutes before the explosion.—Aus and Cable Assn.
