Armstrong, interviewed by the Sportsman, declared his team and well and prepared for a strenuous campaign, especially the travelling, “which is a tax upon our men. I have no fear my men will not come up to expectations," he added, “but I don’t expect to score as we did on the fine Australian wickets.
