Jake Stroude committed suicide by cutting his throat in a boarding-house. He left a note suggesting that the act was premeditated, also a will leaving his property and effects to his sister in .London. Stroude, who is believed to be a Londoner byk birth, was a director of an. ironsand company, and engineer and contractor by occupation.
