The Northern Steam Ship Company advise that the Rarawa was unable to cross the Manukau bar last night. An attempt will be made to cross early this morning, and if successful the vessel should arrive here this evening. The time of her sailing on the return trip is uncertain. PORT PIRIE TO-DAY. The Port Pirie left Wellington at 11 a.m. yesterday for New Plymouth, and is expected to be alongside the wharf kt 7 o’clock this morning. THE YSABEL. The Ysabel took in 60 tons of ballast yesterday and will sail for Auckland MAKURA LEAVES SUVA. At 5 p.m. on Monday the Makura, en route from Vancouver, left Suva for Auckland. She is due to arrive at Auckland at daylight to-day, and is announced to sail |o-morrow for Sydney. * OPAWA AT NEWPORT .NEWS. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received a cable message announcing the arrival of the liner Opawa at Newport News on the 15th inst. from Lyttelton, en route to London. REMUERA DUE TO-DAY. < The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera, due at Wellington to-day from Southampton via Panama, is expected to get away from Wellington next Friday for Auckland.
