CATTLE BREEDERS.
DECISION AS TO CALVING DATES. Hastings, April IS. «”ee!ai meeting <>f the council of the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Breeders’ Associatiorl discussed the action of a member in altering the calving date on three nnipt,l pedigree certificates of imported cattle, and unanimously decided:—(l) That the principal A. and P. societies of the Dominion be informed of the circumstances, and that the council recommends societies that no one of the three beasts in question be allowed to compete or exhibit in any show ring in the Dominion for, say, three years from the date hereof, and that prize-moneys and trophies won by thd said member be returrted by him to the societies concerned (Hastings, Dannevirke, and Palmerston North), and that the prizes be allotted to those next in order of merit; (2) that steps be taken to have the member named removed from the official list of judges of Aberdeen-Angus stock; (3) that the Home authorities be advised of the council’s decision; (4) that the said member’s membership of the association be suspended pending a receipt of a report from the Home authorities as to whether thia suspension should last for a fixed period, say, five yeays, or whether the member should be disqualified •for life.
