RIFLE SHOOTING.
INGLEWOOD CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The Inglewood Defence Rifle Club used to be a club to be reckoned with, but the call of war depleted its ranks to such an extent that the “old buffers” of the club allowed matters to be in abeyance for the time. Now, however, they are awakening, and with a membership of about 30, with Mr. E. Crossman as president and R. J. Frewin as secretary, are coming out of their shell. A gold medal has been presented to the club for competition under the following conditions: Tl:ree*’fehoots on the range at 500 and 600 yards, 10 rounds per range, the prize to go to the highest scorer in any two shoots. The first of these contests was held on Thursday, 14th inst., and resulted as under: —
