Cable Assn. BRITISH SHIPBUILDING. ' London, April 17. Lloyd’s Register discloses a great slump in shipping construction, owing to the fall in freights and strikes. Work has been suspended on many vessels under way. , Compared with the previous year, the tonnage launched for the quarter ended Decembei last decreased 146,000 tons, while the tonnage projected but not commenced fell off to the extent of 75 per cent. EX-KAISERTN’S FUNERAL. The Hague. April 17 There was a withering of visitors to see the ex-Royalists and other notabilities attending the ex-Kaiserin’s funeral. The Crown Price and Prince Adalbert have arrived. The Crown Prince will remain with the ex-Kaiser -for some days. WAGES REDUCTIONS London. April 15.
