WARATAH DINING ROOMS.
NEW PREMISES. The old-established business of the Waratah Dining Rooms is, as from yesterday, being carried on in new premises above Messrs. Webster Bros.’ auction mart. The new premises, which are much more commodious than those vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Walna, have been specially fitted up as a dining room, and one’s first impression as one enters is their extremely comfortable and homely appearance. The high panelled dado< of richly grained timber, and the panelled ceiling are very effective, and add materially to the general effect and the warmth of the room, which is also splendidly lighted. There is accommodation for 120 patrons at one sitting. The kitchen is a large and commodious one, provided with plenty of light and fresh air. It has been fitted up with both coal and gas ranges and an excellent hot water The rooms are a credit not only to Mr. and Mrs. Wallis, but to the town itself. The ambition of Mr. and Mrs. Wallis is, and always has been, to do their best for their clientele, and now that they have moved into larger premises there is no doubt that this firmly established business will, under their capable guidance and management, continue to gflow.
