REDUCTION IN HAWKE’S BAY. By Telegraph.—Pi eg? Associitio.i Napier, April 16. At a largely attended meeting of sheep farmers, it was decided that n general reduction in w T ages for farm and station hands should be brought about, and the following scale was agreed on: Crutchers 4s per 109, shed hands Is per hour, shepherds 30s per week, drovers 15s to 29s per day, station cooks 30s to 40s per week, cowboys 20s to 25s per week, ploughmen 40s per week, station hands 25s per week, married couples £BO to £lOO per annum, casual labor Is per hour, harvesters Is 3d per hour.
