UNEMPLOYMENT.
STARTING IN CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph.—Pres* Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Unemployment among unskilled workers is increasing, according to the Labor Department. Twenty men applied for work this week, the majority being general laborers, with a few farm labor, ers and storemen. Trade union officials state there are signs that unemployment is likely in a number of trades in the near future.
