CRIMES BY CROWN FORCES. r ONG LIST OF OFFENCES, By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 15, 11.10 p.m. London, April 14. In the House of Commons, Sir Denis Henry, Attorney-General for Ireland, said that since January 1221 members of the Crown forces had been arrested for criminal offences 105 tried, and 124 convicted, including twelve sentenced to from three to ten years 90 sentenced to six months to two years. £?veral trials for murder were proceeding. During the same period 140 members of the Crown forces were killed and 220 wounded. The police raided a house in Dublin and seized twenty-five loaded bombs and the components for many others, with a plant for their manufacture. —Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. LATEST SINN FEIN MURDER. Received April 16, 12.10 a.m. London, April 14. Sir Arthur Vicars, formerly Ulster King of Arms, was shot dead at his residence in Listowel, and his house was afterwards destroyed by fire. A tag was attached to Sir Arthur Vicars’ body inscribed: “Traitors beware, we never forget.—l.R.A.”—Aus-N.Z. Cable Assn.
