Present indications are for variable winds, with moderate to strong easterlies prevailing northwards of Kawhia and East Cape, and freshening northerlies to westerlies elsewhere. ,Weather fair, but misty at times, with increasing cloudiness generally. The barometer has a falling tendency everywhere.
