NEW PLYMOUTH CARD ASSOCIATION. The fixtures for the week ending April 23 are: Fitzroy Fire Brigade v. Lepperton; Tarurutangi v. Avenue Road; Frankley Road v. N.Z. Railways; Borough Council v. Bell Block; East End v. Druids; Returned Soldiers’ Association v. Meat Works; New Plymouth Fire Brigade v. Frankleigh Park. Secretaries of card clubs are asked to notify result of tournament games not later than three days after play off to Box 179, New Plymouth.

The match Railway v. Fitzroy Fire Brigade took place on Thursday evening at the Railway Social Hall, resulting in the Railway scoring 19 games in cri'bbage and 16 games in dUehre, whilst the Brigade secured 18 games in cribbage and 18 games in euchre. The members of the Brigade heartily thanked their opponents for the most enjoyable evening that had been tendered to them, the management of which was in the capable hands of Mr. W. Rodgers, ably assisted hy Mr. Mdndoe. The following players took part: Railway.—Crib: Messrs. Bolton* Warren. Deane, Barnett, Connor, Mett Kingi, Hanley, Fenton. Euchre: Yfnmg, McFarlane, Gardner, Salt, Scforrar, Eley, Whyte and Hoskin. Brigade.—Crib: Messrs. Johnston, Bishop, France, Walker, Penwarden, Gibson, Bartleys G-ates. Euchre: Richards, F Rogers, Coulson, Layman, Tanner, Vernon, Kibby and Seamark.
