MR. MASSEY’S PLANS.
LEAVES AUCKLAND SATURDAY HIS PORTFOLIOS ALLOTTED. ( By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. To-morrow night Mr Massey leaves Wellington for Auckland He" attends a civic farewell at Auckland on Friday and will open the New Zealand Farmers’ Fertilizer Company’s works at Te Rapapa on Saturday, leaving by the Niagara for Vancouver the same day The Hons. D. H. Guthrie, C. J. Parr and J. G. Coates and probably other Ministers will be in Auckland to bid the Premier farewell and wish him success in his mission to the Old Country. The allocation of Mr Massey's portfolios during his absence has been finally decided. Sir Francis Bell will be acting-Premier and will control all the Finance Departments. Mr. Guthrietakes Railways, Mr Anderson takes Mines, and Mr. Nosworthy takes the Imperial Supplies Department.
