JANUARY-MARCH QUARTER. COMPARISON WITH LAST YEAR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The bank returns for the JanuaryMarch quarter disclose an excess of advances and discounts over deposits amounting to £5,290,610. The aggregate assets of the six banks exceed the liabilities by £2,396,677. Details (with the figures for the corresponding quarter of 1920) are as follow, shillings and pence being omitted): —
