Considerable interest isvbeing aroused in the County Fair crowning ceremony and dance, which is advertised to take place on Thursday evening, in the Town Hall, Inglewood. Miss Norah Sinclair, of Egmont Village, is to be the Queen, and Misses Heatley and Capper her maids of honor. The ceremony will be carried out by His Worship the Mayor. People are invited to wear fancy dress and to take part in the pageant. After the ceremony dancing will be the order of the evening, and Miss Curd’s orchestra will provide the music. Bridge and euchre tables will be arranged for those not dancing. Admission is 2a 6d, and ladies are invited to help with a light supper. Messrs. Webster Bros, advertise in this issue particulars of furniture to be sold by auction at their new Mart at 2 p.m. day.
