HOCKEY. ELTHAM CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Eltham Cijib on Monday evening the election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr. O. Hawken, M.P.; president, Mr. C. Pennington: vice-presidents, Messrs. C. L. Wilson, C. A. Wilkinson, A. Tiplady, D. L. A. Astbury, F. W. Pennington, W. Lambie, J. L. Weir. C. Harrison, H. Grubb, C. Maslin, and Rev. J. G. Castle; secretary, Mr. W. J. M. McClellan; treasurer. Mr. F. Primmer; management committee, Messrs. Johnston, Pennington, senr., Frethey, Primmer, and secretary; selection committee, Messrs. Johnston, Pennington and captain; delegates ,to association, Mr. M. Henrickson and secretary The election of captain was left over until after the first match. It was resolved to open the season with a practice next Thursday afternoon t on Park.
