VISIT TO THE WEST COAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hokitika, April 9. Lord and Lady Jellicoe and suite arat mid-day from Greymouth, visit-= ing Kumara en route, where they visited the Old People’s Home and had a hearty reception. Heavy rain this morning caused the outdoor welcome to be transferred to the Princess Theatre, which overflowed with a most enthusiasTic gathering. Children participated in a special welcome and an address was presented, the reception being most hearty. A luncheon followed. The party visits Ross to-morrow, weather permitting, and leaves for Christchurch, via Otira, on Monday morning.
