Mr. Rickard has announced that the Demp-sey-Carpentier fight will be held at New Jersey on July 2. He will decide in a few days whether it will be at Jersey City, Newark; or Atlantic City. Governor Edwards, of New Jersey, has approved the plans. , Mr. Rickard said the fight will be twelve rounds or no decision. An arena will be built to seat 50,000, and the prices will range from five to fifty dollars. Dempsey leaves Seattle to-night for New York to begin his training immediately.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
