A sad bereavement has overtaken one of the ministers who are coming to New Zealand to serve the Presbyterian Church. The Rev. P. Gladstone Hughes, 8.A., from the Welsh Presbyterian Church, left the home country with his wife and four children. On the voyage Mrs. Hughes’ health, which had been rather indifferent, became worse and she died a few days after reaching Sydney.
