CARD ASSOCIATION.

MEETING OF DELEGATES. A meeting of the New Plymouth Card Association was held in the Central Fire Station last night when twenty-six delegates were present. Mr. F. J. Bellringer presided. Notice was received that the following teams had entered for the competition:—New Plymouth Fire Brigade, Avenue Road, Druids, R.S.A., Frankleigh Park, Meat Works, Borough Council, Railway Department East End, Bell Block, Tarurutangi, Fitzroy Fire Brigade, Frankleigh Road. The* following executive was elected: Messrs. E. Whittle (president), G. Roper (hon. sec.), G. Blanchard (Druids), E. King (Frankleigh Park), A. Rogers (Railways), A. Courtenay (Fire Brigade), W. Roch (R.S.A.), and B. Gall (Borough Council). The following fixtures to be played during next week were drawn up, the name of the home club being mentioned first in each ease:—Tarurutangi v. East* End: Railway v. Fitzroy Fire Brigade; R.S.A. v. New Plymouth Fire Brigade; Bell Block v. Avenue Road; Meat Works v. Borough Council; Druids v. Frankleigh Park; Read, a bya.
