FIRES IN CORK. BRIGADE REFUSES DUTY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 8, 9.35 p.m. London, April 7. The Cork Fire Brigade, when summoned to outbreaks at Balckrock, refused to leave the station because the fires were Of incendiary origin. It is reported armed men visited cottages in the neighbourhood and sprinkled the furniture with petrol and then burned the houses.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
