GERMAN IN COURT.

NO NATURALISATION PAPERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A German named Carl Mumme was charged at the Police Court to-day with failing to deliver up his naturalisation papers. It was explained in defence that accused did not possess papers in the early days of the war, when he was interned on Somes Island. His son cleared out all his papers, and he suggested his naturalisation papers were burnt. The Magistrate gave accused the benefit of the doubt. The authorities ned the case would prove a warning.
