MANNIX AT ROME.
REASON FOR SILENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, April 6. The Rome correspondent of the Morning Post says that Archbishop Mannix’s visit has no political importance. His silence during his stay has been noticed and is attributed to a plain hint which he received from the most august quarter to keep quiet while in Rome.
