DISARMAMENT.
OPPOSED BY AMERICAN PRESIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Washington, April 6. President Harding informed a delegation of the Women's Peace Party that international situation did not permit of any move towards disarmament on the part of the United States. The President said that, while »he was deeply interested in the question, he does not feel that conditions abroad warrant the recommendation of any disarmament plan as part of the legislative programme for next session.
