DETAILS OF THE TOURNEY. CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS. The recent New Zealand draughts championship was won by #he veteran player J. A. Boreham, of Wellington, who recorded his fifth isuccess in Dominion championship contests. The championship prizes went to J. A. Boreham (Dunedin) 1, F. E. Hilliker (Dunedin) \2, G. A. Brown (Christchurch) 3. On opening the sealed handicaps it was found that prizes went to the following:—C. Manson (Wellington Working Men’s Club) 1, T. Costello (Wellington Working Men’s Club) 2, R. Botting (Balclutha) 3, W. Carswell (Mosgiel) 4, J. Bruce (New Plymouth) 5, J. Mulvey (Wellington) 6, and J. Legatt (Masterton) 7. Mulvey and Leggatt finished level on points,, but the former won by a small margin on percentage. DETAILS OF SCORING. Sealed
