THE VERDICT AT THE INQUEST. MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE FOLLOWS. By Telegraph. —Pres-4 Association Wanganui, Last* Night. An inquest was held this afternoon concerning the deaths of Violet Campbell and Robert Leonard Adamson, whQ were killed by a motor-car on Saturday night. The coroner returned the following verdict: “The deaths are due to deceas-i ed being knocked down by a motorcar driven by Bernard Mullins, ami that the said Mullins did cause the deaths by negligently driving the cad at a speed and in a manner dangerous to the public.” Subsequently Mullins was charged with manslaughter and admitted to bad in £5OO.
