THE PRICE OF POTATOES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, April 2. On the application of produce merchants the Profiteering Court released potatoes from price control, as the price has dropped £6 since it was fixed in April, 1920. SEQUEL TO SHOOTING CASE. Sydney, April 2. Mr. Crowhurst, who was wounded in the thigh by a bullet in the Brookfield shooting, collapsed and died of heart failure. OBSERVANCE OF ANZAC DAY. Sydney, April 2. ■Mr. Hughes announced that the Government is proclaiming April 25 a public holiday. The New South Wales Cabinet has already decided that there shall be no holiday, and probably the result will be that only the Commonwealth offices will be closed.
