MAKING FILMS.
NEW ZEALAND ENTERPRISE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Otaki, March 30. Considerable interest was displayed at a public meeting last night to consider the erection of moving picture studios here. Otaki is- considered by experts to be the Los Angeles of New Zealand, and admirably suited for the purpose. T.t was decided to float a limited liability company-with a nominal capital of £25,000 to establish a studio. Mr. F. Moore was elected secretary, and Messrs. Byron Brown, J. P. Brandon and W. H. Mills a board of directors. It was agreed to open share lists in Otaki and adjacent towns. Messrs. Brown and Moore offered to take 2000 shares each, while strong support was offered by others. Six thousand sharefl were taken up in the room-.
