Wallace (Waverley) and, Mrs. Melody beat Webster and Miss Brewster (New Plymouth) in the combined doubles championship 3—6, 6—2, 6—2. Wallace and Dickie (Waverley? beat Powdrell and Lampe in the men’s championship doubles 6—3, 3—G, 6—4, 6—3. Mrs. Melody and Miss Weils beat Mis? Brewster (New Plymouth) and Mrs. Smith and the ladies’ championship doubles 6—3, 6—4. INTER-’VARSITY DOUBLES. Christchurch, March In the final of the inter-’Varsity tennis combined doubles, Johns and Miss Knight (Auckland) beat Worker ana Miss Wilcox.
