AN INCENDIARY GANGk MORE BRUTAL MURDERS. By Telegraph.—-Press Assn.—Copyright. London, March 29. The authorities are aware that a special gang of Sinn Feiners has arrived in England to carry out an intensified arson campaign. It ia understood that the gang is using motor cars, motor vans, and numerous disguises. Stringent precautions have been taken to guard public buildings. Captain Lees, employed at Dublin Castle, has been shot dead in Drury He was- in mufti and was walking to the Castle. Three or four ifien surrounded him and fired several shots point blank. The assassins escaped. Armed men removed Good, who held, the Military Cross, from a trap at Barrysh-all, Cork, and shot him dead. A note attached to his clothing said: “Convicted spies and informers beware.” Good’s father was shot dead on March 10. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. THE MALLOW "SHOOTING. Ldndon, March 29. The court of inquiry into the Mallow shooting finds that the railwaymen were not inhumanely treated nor fired on, as cabled. The remainder of the allegations made in the House of Commons wore not borne out by the evidence.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
