The Daily Express’ Constantinople correspondent states that the Turks do not intend to accept battle until the Cadtamouni—Angora line is reached, where the main Turkish army is concentrated near their base of supplies. When the Greeks reach Angora their lines of communication will be long, and will extend ovei* liffieult country. The Greeks, however, are delirious with delight, and expect to occupy Constantinople on Greek Easter —May 2.—Aus. and JF.Z. Cable Assn. GREEK PREMIER’S HOPES. SOLUTION OF EASTERN QUESTION. Received March 30. 8.15 p.m. Athens, March 30. M. Calogeropoulos (the Greek Premier), in an interview, said the Greek victories in Asia Minor foreshadow a satisfactory solution of the 'Eastern question. He hopes to sign peace at Smyrna or Athens after submitting the terms to the Allies. Difficulty regarding Constantine does not exist, as the Allies are collaborating with the Greek Cabinet. There are continued enthusiastic demonstrations in the streets over new Factories.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn. THE GREEK ADVANCE. POSITION IN CILICIA. Athens, March 29. The Greeks occupied Eskishehir railway junction, capturing many prisoners and material. They also captured Afiunkarahissar. Constantinople, March 29. General Gauraud, after visiting the Grand Vizier, reports that the Angora Government has not accepted the London Franco-Turkish agreement, and he fears France will be compelled to retort to force in Cilicia.
