FREE MARKET WANTED. LONDON REPRESENTATIVE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At a meeting of the Canterbury Sheepowners’ Union a resolution was carried requesting the Government to remove al> restrictions on the purchase and shipment of New Zealand meat, and that free and open competition be allowed! and encouraged within the Dominion. It was also resolved that a levy 5s per thousand sheep be charged tq| dheepownens throughout the Dominion to. assist in payment of the salary of qfr’ producers’ representative an England.
