ENGLAND BEATS FRANCE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Paris, March 28. At Rugby football England beat France by 10 points to 6. Forty thousand people witnessed the Rugby match France v. England at Colombes, where Marshal Foch unveiled a monument to French Rugby internationals killed in the war. Play was fierce from the start, and England, forcing the game, scoped two tries which were converted, against France’s penalty goal, in the first half. France obtained a second penally just before time.
